Horror For Hire LLC was created by 2 Horror enthusiasts, cosplayers, and friends.  

Horror For Hire aims to provide an exceptional acting experience for all of our victims. We utilize only the highest-quality costumes and silicone masks, crafted by leading special effects companies in the industry - the same companies that collaborate with major motion pictures and Hollywood productions. The costumes we wear are not available for purchase from any standard Halloween or costume retailer. Instead, these specialized garments and masks are custom-ordered and handmade by professional artisans.

James Smith

       James Smith serves as the Co-Owner and lead performer at Horror for Hire.  He has more than 25 years of experience in haunted attractions and a personal collection of costumes and masks amassed over the past 15 years. He provides an unparalleled level of detail and authenticity, especially when it comes to 80s slasher icons.

With a track record of winning numerous cosplay and costume contests, James is celebrated for crafting immersive and chilling experiences at events such as weddings, parades, parties, conventions, and corporate gatherings. While he specializes in horror-themed entertainment, James is also licensed to officiate weddings, allowing for the inclusion of unique horror characters into your special day. 

Kevin Curtis

"Co-Founder & Co-CEO"

         Kevin Curtis serves as the Co-Owner and Actor at Horror for Hire, with a background encompassing 3 years of experience in various settings. These include acting and cosplaying at events, parades, conventions, haunted houses, and private gatherings. 

       Kevin’s passion for the horror genre traces back to his early years when 80's horror reigned supreme. His enduring adoration for the genre motivates him to embody both classic and contemporary characters, bringing them to life for audiences to enjoy.

       Kevin is also licensed to officiate weddings, providing the opportunity to incorporate distinctive horror characters into your memorable occasion.
